The first live show of the second season of X Factor Malta has now taken place, where two of the acts have now been eliminated. The 12 finalists performed songs that represented the theme ‘Born This Way’ with two of the acts performing original songs.

- Yazmin and James – Señorita
- Celine Agius – It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World
- Justine Shorfid – Always Remember Us This Way
- Ed Abdilla – Devil’s Robe (Original Song)
- A.I.T.H – That’s My Girl
- Karl Schembri – Smalltown Boy
- Jr – Life is Good (Original Song)
- Paul Anthony – Feel
- Bloodline – My Favourite Things/Lovely
- Destiny Chukunyere – Higher Love
There were three acts in the bottom three, two progress to an elimination sing-off, while the lowest placing act is immediately eliminated. Ed Abdilla was eliminated prior to the sing-off, while Celine Agius and Paul Anthony performed again in the Final Showdown. Celine performed the song Valerie, while Paul Anthony performed Forget You. The judges voted unanimously to eliminate Paul Anthony from the competition. This means that two of the three participants in Alexandra Alden’s group have now been eliminated.
